Dear collaborative discussion friends,
We are taking a short break from our regular weekly newsletters to share with you some exciting information about upcoming events. If you have been enjoying the collaborative discussion activities that we highlight each week, then you may want to consider applying for our summer coach training. It is an opportunity to dive deeper into these activities and become certified to offer your own Collaborative Discussion Certificate Program. You will be joining a growing community of coaches (80+) who award certificates in collaborative discussion (600+).
Summer Coach Training
The Summer Coach Training is offered online, May 29 - June 4 from 12 - 3pm eastern (excluding Sat & Sun). You can expect 15 hours of interactive engagement in small group discussion. Upon successful completion, participants will become certified collaborative discussion coaches and able to offer their own collaborative discussion certificate programs.
By the end of the Collaborative Discussion Coach Training you will have...
Deeper understanding of key collaborative discussion concepts
Greater familiarity with the Collaborative Discussion Toolkit and intentional design of toolkit activities
Practiced how to facilitate all activities in the Standard Collaborative Discussion Certificate Program
Access to Coach Only Resources, an assessment suite, certificate program templates, and more!
Administrative support to award certificates and digital badges in collaborative discussion
Access to post-training one-on-one consultations with the program director and support team
Invitation to monthly gatherings, workshops, webinars, and opportunities to join working teams
Opportunity to be part of a growing community of educators, dialogue practitioners, and civic professionals
If this interests you and you can commit fully to all 5 days of the training, please consider registering. The cost of the training is $265. We are able to offer a discounted price due to the generous support of the Interactivity Foundation. Our programming should never be cost prohibitive. Please contact us if a scholarship is needed.
