Dear collaborative discussion friends,
This week we are sharing four curiosity prompts that can be used to develop curiosity, as well as a free resource that can be used as reminder of these prompts during a group discussion, in a classroom or workshop, or as part of the daily practice to build curiosity. Curiosity is a skill that can be developed or enhanced through intentional daily practice. These prompts can be used in thinking about different people, situations, or topics we encounter as a way of exercising curiosity everyday. The prompts can also help expand a group’s thinking about an issue or topic during a discussion.

Free resource to share and practice 4 curiosity prompts
These curiosity prompts can be found in Activity 2.1 Promoting Curiosity. They are designed to help expand how we look at an issue and help us see aspects of that issue or situation that may not be obvious at first glance. These prompts also help us shift our thinking from focusing just on the problems to exploring possibilities.
The four curiosity prompts are:
What if…
Think about…
Can we imagine…
Why is that true?
